There are strange aspects to the ruling in the Asian Agri case. There should be an examination by the Judicial Commission.

THERE are at least four reasons why we are concerned about the verdict of the Central Jakarta District Court in the Asian Agri Group’s lawsuit against Tempo magazine. This magazine was sued for publishing reports on questions regarding a Rp1.3 trillion tax evasion case committed the Asian Agri conglomerate owned by Sukanto Tanoto.
