Against a Single Lawyers’ Group
The Supreme Court should establish an independent commission to approve new lawyers. A legal clause requiring a single lawyers’ group must be repealed.

THE Supreme Court should act wisely with regards to the conflict between the Indonesian Association of Attorneys (Peradi) and the Indonesian Congress of Attorneys (KAI). As the institution authorized to approve attorneys’ license to practice, the court cannot allow the conflict to continue. A solution must be found before the dispute causes bigger problems.
