Bans for SOE Officials

Officials of state-owned enterprises involved in presidential campaigns are breaking the law. Conflicts of interest must be avoided.

IT should be very clear. The Presidential and Vice-presidential Election Law bans officials from state-owned enterprises from campaigning. But every election, we see commissioners or directors of state-owned enterprises (SOEs) campaigning for their candidates. These violations must stop immediately.
