The well-planned operation—including efforts for a live broadcast on private television—failed to nab the leader most wanted by the police: Noordin M. Top. A hail of gunfire and a low-powered explosive device only killed Ibrohim, one of Noordin’s henchmen who had been working as a florist at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Jakarta
