An Acceptable Religious Label

The Halal Bill is far from sufficient. If it cannot be improved, just leave it for the incoming DPR members to work on.

THE House of Representatives (DPR) needs to completely redo the Halal Product Guarantee Bill. The bill still contains some principal flaws which have the potential to cause financial losses and invite strong public protest. If they are unable to make fundamental improvements, the DPR members would do well not to force its enactment at the end of their term of office in September. Improvements can be made by the incoming DPR members.
