No Arbitrary Arms Sales
Philippines Customs detained the crew of a ship carrying illegal arms from Indonesia. A body to monitor the arms trade is needed.

PT Pindad should have realized from the start that arms are not a commodity to be arbitrarily traded. As the seller, the state-owned company, which is the only producer of weapons in Indonesia, should be very careful in its transactions. Sold to the wrong people, arms could be misused, for example for crimes such as terrorism, ousting governments, theft and so forth.
