The new Law on Films is turning out to be far more authoritarian than its predecessor. Does this signal a return to the New Order?

MEMBERS of the House of Representatives (DPR) whose tenure will end in a few weeks' time have truly outdone themselves. The current members are fraught with corruption cases and many are too lazy to attend meetings, including the time when the President delivered his speech. Their crowning glory is the new Law on Films that is nothing less than authoritarian in nature.
