Superficial Politicking
Some members of the DPR want to cut the KPK budget. Even if they are dissatisfied with how the Bank Century case was handled, they should not sacrifice the fight against corruption.

IT is not right for the members of the House of Representatives (DPR) to threaten to cut back the budget of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), or to block its increase. This statement should be condemned, especially if it is based on the DPR’s dissatisfaction with the performance of the KPK in following up the DPR’s recommendations over the Bank Century case.
