THE law must be tougher towards law enforcement agents who misuse their authority to extort citizens in this country. Despite so much criticism and media coverage, extortion by those agents, who are supposed to be on the front line of law enforcement, still occurs. In the hands of those corrupt men, the law is not only twisted, it becomes a trade commodity.

The latest example of such acts came from Indramayu, West Java. Their behavior forced Dar
