Bank Rakyat Indonesia has finally chosen the legal route to resolve its dispute with Joko S. Tjandra.

THE move by Bank Rakyat Indonesia and the BRI Pension Fund to sue PT Mulia Persada Pacific is the right one. It is necessary, given that the case has been so protracted, and there has been no sign of goodwill from Mulia to resolve it. If the problem is allowed to continue, not only will the Pension Fund lose out, so will the government, because it involves state assets.
