THERE is no benefit in maintaining the international-standard schools program, which began in 2003. Many mistakes have been made.
The government must stop issuing new permits for international-standard pioneer schools (RSBI)—the ‘apprentice’ stage before becoming an international-standard school (SBI)—in March. But, the program must be halted because the concept is unclear.
