The president was too hasty in reacting to the 'M Nazaruddin' slanderous text message. If there is enough evidence for legal action, why not arrest the person who sent it?

WITHOUT any clear identification, a cellphone text message or SMS, is no different from blackmail letters. These usually contain threats, insults or criticism that are sent using deliberately crude or obscene language, and that are intended to offend the recipient. Different topics are used, such as ethnicity, religion, sexuality, ideology, intelligence or ethics. The main aim of these 'anonymous letters' is to let out grudges or anger.
