A Weakened Constitutional Court

The DPR and the government have agreed to reduce the authority of the Constitutional Court. Discussions on revising the law must not take place behind closed doors.

THE politicians at the House of Representatives (DPR) and the Government should not discuss legislation behind closed doors– unless they have ulterior motives the public should not know about. This is especially the case if the law in question is vital, like the revision to the Law on the Constitutional Court.
