An economy needs a push for it to develop. Like a sledge, it must be shoved hard before it can move smoothly. The faster it moves, the greater the degree of success. In economics, the important question is who does the pushing: a large number of small- and medium-sized entrepreneurs or a few heads of gigantic conglomerates?

Looking back over the history of economic development we can see that successive governments have wanted to help small busi
