Penalizing corruptors by placing them in a zoo-like garden is a unique idea, but properly trying them in court and imprisoning them should be a priority.

ALTHOUGH it is not an original idea, the proposal to build a zoo for corruptors by Mahfud Md. should be seen as an endeavor by the Constitutional Court chairman to revive the anticorruption spirit. The idea seems to have sprung from the view that corruption is such an extraordinary crime that 'normal' methods are no longer sufficient to deal with it.
