Tough rules on remissions should be retained. Other regulations that corruptors can take advantage of should be revised.

The Justice and Human Rights Ministry should appeal against the Jakarta State Administrative Court ruling which rejected the tightening of remission and parole regulations specifically aimed at corruptors serving jail sentences.
