Suspicions of a 'new deal' between the government and the Bakrie Family, through the Golkar Party, in relation to the Lapindo mudflow, seem to be more than just rumor. Former Minister/State Secretary Yusril Izha Mahendra was being sharp when he questioned the inclusion of the case in Article 18 of the Revised 2012 State Budget Law, which was hammered out at the Plenary Session of the House of Representatives (DPR) at the end of March.
