Television stations with public frequencies are being used by their owners as a campaign tool. The broadcast commission seems unable to act against them.

IT is no surprise that people have been getting upset at the frequent advertising of presidential candidates on television. Yet the candidates themselves are not likely to care whether the advertising brings positive or negative impact. Perhaps they are like teenagers, singing: "the television is mine alone, everything is up to me..."
