OFFICIAL interventions are usually unwelcome, but the move by the youth and sports minister to suspend the All-Indonesia Football Association (PSSI) is a positive sign. Established in 1930, the association was intended to fight suppression but today the PSSI is suspected to be strongly controlled by bribery, manipulated scores and gambling.
