It is a fundamental right of every Indonesian citizen of to worship freely according to one's faith. Article 29 of the 1945 Constitution clearly stipulares that the State must guarantee religious freedom to all of its citizens.

This constitutional right was clearly abused when a crowd broke up a communal worship service (KKR) being held at the Sasana Budaya Ganesha Building (Sabuga) in Bandung last Tuesday. The forced stoppage by a religious gro
