As the United Nations becomes increasingly helpless, the international community must double its efforts to save Aleppo's civilians.

Regardless of who wins or loses the war in Syria that has been going on for more than five years, the one who is suffering the most is its civilian population. The war has so far claimed 500,000 lives and forced 11 million people to seek refuge both in and outside the country.
