Saving the Elections
The KPK should not hesitate to arrest regional head candidates suspected of corrupt practices. However, an ‘emergency route’ to replace candidates should be available.

The Corruption Eradication Commissions (KPK) move to name several regional head candidates as suspects is a positive sign for the law enforcement authorities. KPK exhibited resolve when it rejected the governments request to postpone naming suspects until the regional elections are over in June.
