The planned wiretapping law could limit the authority of the Corruption Eradication Commission. Although not ideal, an exception could be the solution.

IF corruption was not the main challenge for every government institution in Indonesia, there would be no need to overreact to the plan by the House of Representatives (DPR) to regulate the authority of law enforcement agencies to use wiretaps.
