THE government should go ahead immediately with the consolidation of the geothermal assets operated by PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (Persero) and PT Pertamina (Persero). The establishment of a holding company to manage the assets of these two state-owned enterprises is a prerequisite for the development of geothermal energy in Indonesia.
