Lebaran Holiday without Covid-19

Returning home for the end-of-fasting-month Ramadan holidays, or Lebaran, should be a pleasant journey. Follow the rules and be well prepared.

IN the past few days, the flow of people returning to their hometowns has swelled. The government has finally allowed people to return home to celebrate the end of Ramadan, or mudik Lebaran, after barring this for the past two years in order to keep the Covid-19 spread under control. This policy signals that the government no longer deems the Covid-19 plague to have serious repercussions. Even so, it is better for all of us to remain cautious.
