STORIES of people who imagine themselves as messiah come and go. There are those who claim to be a caliph for the Islamic world, an emperor, a prophet or the savior of humankind. But what makes us shake our heads is the fact that the response from the government is never smart and always simply takes the shortcut of arresting and jailing such people. The latest example is the arrest of Abdul Qadir Hasan Baraja, leader of Khilafatul Musl
