IF Coordinating Minister for Politics, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud Md. had not revealed details of irregular transactions worth Rp300 trillion within the finance ministry in piecemeal fashion, perhaps the public would not have been dragged into a state of mass confusion. This is especially so because some of the information released by Mahfud came without any further explanation. Instead of making things clear, it only increased confusion.
