THE Constitutional Court’s Ethics Council (MKMK) could prevent further damage to the workings of the nation. In its session on Tuesday this week examining possible violations of ethics by constitutional judges, the Council, led by the University of Indonesia constitutional law lecturer Jimly Asshiddiqie, has an opportunity to correct the procedural violations by the Court that exceeded its authority.

The Council, comprising constitutional
