Parliament's Culpable Agreement

The secret agreement between political parties to fill parliamentary seats vacated before the end of the term, is shameful. Public affairs should not be run in such an underhanded way.

WHO would refuse a seat in parliament, if the opportunity arises? You would get the honor of being a people's representative, with all the privileges and perquisites that go with the job. You would be allotted an official residence, where electricity, water and telephone are free, not to mention a Kijang car, paid for in installments with government subsidies. And most recently, you would also get a rat-proof washing machine as a special gift
