The bribery case in the House of Representatives may never be thoroughly settled.

The people's representatives—formerly honorable—have begun colluding to resolve a bribery case. The case in question, involving legislators from the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P), is nearly settled. The bribe itself, some say, has nothing to do with the divestment of Bank Niaga. If certain faction members have received money from the Indonesian Bank Restructuring Agency (IBRA), this is their personal affair. I
