The Islam Defenders Front (FPI) disbanded itself last week. What will the white-robed and turbaned members of the organization do now? Will they disperse into smaller groups? Or is it true they are returning to khitah, the original aim of FPI as a dakwah organization to propagate Islam? Interestingly, the disbandment of the organization closely followed the release of their leader, Habib Rizieq Shihab, from police detention in Jakarta.
