It turns out that army and police personnel have been involved in the long-running conflict in Maluku. They have taken sides in the bloody fighting there, rather than trying to stop it or bring peace. Fighting between groups of people has come to resemble a war between armed forces. It has come to light that from the beginning elements of the nation's security forces have joined in the fighting, shooting, burning and explosions by the two oppo
