This year, like last year, the government was anything but serious about fighting corruption.

An article in Business Week Online last June reports that in Singapore if you come across a stop sign, you stop. In China and Taiwan, if such a sign blocks your way, you find a way of going around it. The article does not mention Indonesia, and how such situations are addressed.
