A big pesantren in a small West Java town is suspected of having a dark past. Should anybody or any institution be judged simply by its origin?

SAVE Al-Zaytun. That's the decision we should reach regarding the controversy over a pesantren (Islamic boarding school), reputedly the biggest in Southeast Asia, that is supposedly linked to Darul Islam, a separatist movement seeking the establishment of an Islamic state in Indonesia some years ago.
