Public figures should not mind being criticized. If the media goes out of line, recourse can be taken through the Press Lawnot the Criminal Code.

DUE to a cartoon of Akbar Tandjung, Golkar chairman and House of Representatives (DPR) speaker, in his newspaper, chief editor Karim Paputungan was recently sentenced by court to a jail term. The cartoon was considered to be an insult.
