If people see the courts as unjust, they become angry, but the failings of the legal system cannot be overcome by resorting to anarchy.

THE district court and Larantuka Prosecutor's Office in East Nusa Tenggara were burned by a mob after a judge ruled in the defamation case brought by an official against a popular local leader. A Catholic priest was sentenced to probation for blackening the good name of the Regent of East Flores. Perhaps there was some truth in the accusation that the trial was unfair, but wrecking and burning is anarchy that is clearly illegal.
