EVERY day in Kaki Air, Waiapo district, Buru regency, Maluku, there is a flood of fish. Each day, more than 1 ton of fresh fish, which have become rigid, is thrown out. “Those are fish which did not sell,” said Kabauw, a fishmonger at Namlea market, Buru regency.
