PIGANG Bekor is a hamlet located to the east of Maumere, in the village of Egon, Sikka district, Flores, East Nusa Tenggara. It has a population of 42 families or 272 people (89 men, 104 women and 79 children). Pigang Bekor people are the indigenous people of the area, as indicated by the existence of historical artifacts, ruin of old dwellings and graves in the area.
