THE heavy rain pouring over Palangkaraya for three consecutive days in early September has made the southern section of the Trans-Kalimantan road, linking the border of Central Kalimantan with West Kalimantan, severely damaged. The red-soil road is now covered with mud holes as deep as a meter.
