OUR curiosity was answered after we had walked 200 meters towards downtown, in the area of Jalan Jenderal Sudirman in Langgur. Apparently, the crispy smell came from peeled peanuts which were then put into bottles. Meanwhile the cassava was grated, dried, flattened and then smoked.
