FOR corporate meetings and tourism, the issue of access is top of the list of things to be taken care of. How can a meeting for 3,000-10,000 people be organized in a place where no wide-body airplanes can land? For this reason, Emaar Properties, a developer that will build a Nusa Dua-style hotel complex, made a condition that Lombok must first have an airport with a 4.5-kilometer runway before the tourism infrastructure is developed.
