Malaria Alert
Nearly 50 percent of Indonesians are at risk of malaria infection. Eastern Indonesia makes slow progress in reducing its prevalence. Recent efforts fighting it should be managed well so the malaria-eliminating program can be completed effectively.

THE Human Development Report 2007/2008 issued by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) shows that global warming will slowly destroy the ecosystem that has been established for centuries. Around 2.6 billion people throughout the world will get the impact of climate change directly. They are poor people who live on less than US$2 per day. Their life will be threatened with malnutrition, water scarcity, environment damage, and job losses.
