FAUZY Ammari has been struggling on the Silk Road for 10 months. On this main trade route which connected Asia, Europe, and Africa some 3,000 years ago, his thriving career is now being put to the test.
The man, born in Ternate, North Maluku 42 years ago, is entrusted as one of the consultants of a road-building project on one of the ancient route’s sections in Uzbekistan.
