DESPITE having been exploited by logging operators and regarded as low priority area, the new homes planned for rehabilitated orangutans in Kutai Timur and Kutai Kertanegara, East Kalimantan, are located in a better area of the jungle than in nearby Tanjung Redep and the Kayan Mentarang National Park.
