LAST June, one night, many stars adorned the sky above Jamursbamedi. Stretching 17.9 kilometers, the beach is located in Abun district, Tabrauw regency, West Papua. There, a joint sea turtle conservation team treaded the sandy grounds carefully as they approached their destination that night. Included in the team were people from the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) of Sorong, The Hall of Natural Resource Conservation (BBKSDA) and the State University o
