Makassar to Adopt Singapore ‘Green City’ Concept

MAKASSAR will adopt a variety of concepts from cities around the world in a new city development plan. One feature in the plan is the ‘green city’ concept from Singapore.

Mayor of Makassar Ilham Arief Sirajuddin, after the World Cities Summit 2010 on Tuesday, 6 July, said that the elements adopted are simple and will not need a lot of funding.
