IN Southeast Sulawesi, his name is synonymous with community radio. Onte, as he is better known, is the founder of Radio Swara Alam—now the largest community radio station in Southeast Sulawesi. Graduating from university in 1998, Onte was active with the environment before moving to community radio. In 2003, he established Kendari TV, starting up with just a few cameras. Onte said that this was the first community television station in Sulawes
