Bena Where Time Stands

THE story is told from one generation to the next in Bena, a traditional village studded with flat, round stones from the Megalithic Age: “Two men were hunting in the Inerie hills. A wild boar passed by, and they chased it until it was night. As they were searching for a fire to warm their bodies, two women opened their doors for the hunters. Two pairs of humans then joined together and multiplied.” And Bena came into being!
