A number of deaf-mute students in Bali and child workers in Lombok continue attending school and making achievements despite their physical limitations. Besides studying, they are their families’ breadwinners.

AT 16 years of age, Made Subentar is only a third-grader. He is one of the pupils at Primary School 2 Bengkala in Buleleng regency, Bali. Born deaf-mute, he goes to school quite late compared to other children of his age. Each day after school, he has to work, cutting wood for door and window frames.
