EVERY Saturday afternoon, laughter can be heard spilling out of a room at the Lamnyong public library in Banda Aceh, where dozens of children are busy reading and acting out scenes from their favorite books.

Efi Adriani, 44, always brings along her two daughters to join in the fun. She found out about the Aceh Storytelling Community on social media earlier this year, and quickly signed up.
